PCI 7813R ground

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi, I'm using a PCI 7813R and PCI 6225 cards and I'd like to verify if the D GND, AI GND and AO GND are connected to the chassis/building ground. Thanks.

Hi Napoy,

For both cards, the AIGND, AOGND, and DGND all are internally connected to the chassis ground (which, if plugged into a properly wired electric outlet, is connected to a building ground).

This is confirmed in both these articles:

Thanks Joey. I just got the card and confirmed that the AI Gnd, AO Gnd and DGND are indeed connected using a DMM. Thanks again.
