PC Card driver missing

1.After reboot, message says PCMCIA driver software not installed.
2. In MAX-configuration - right click on Devices and Interface selected DAQCARD-AI-16E-4, But how do I assign Device #, PCCARD socket, input/output range, interrupt request
I have no direction to install and get the system ready for datalogging.
I am very disappointed. I have a NT OS. First I started with USB system, later found something doesn't work with USB, then switched to PCMCIA, Now I have the socket driver problem.

Hello;

One thing you need to double check is if the sockets of your Laptop are using the native Microsoft drivers or third party driver.
If the thirdy party driver is being used, the best way is to uninstall that and install the native MS driver from the windows CD.

After that done, uninstall NI-DAQ, download the latest version (6.9.2) from NI web site, and install that.

Also, the following link has some good information about DAQ board installation and troubleshooting tips.

Hope this helps.
