Options for PT100 RTD temp sensor into Labviw - USB8451 possible?

Hi,

What are my options for obtaining PT100 RTD temperature sensor into Labview? 

Is it possible with a NI USB-8451, or what about reading into an ardiuno then into labview? I cant seem to find any accurate information on any of these two options.

Is there a cheap alternative?

Hi Natejk,

the USB 8451 is a serial communication module, it cannot handle pt100 sensors directly.

An Arduino would be a cheap solution: use a voltage divider to convert the resistance change of the pt100 into a voltage change you can measure with the Arduino...
