Optical High speed digitizers

Hallo,

I want to measure a analog fiber optic signal. I don't want to build a
optical/electrical converter (Loss of speed and quality) and sample it
directly.

So, I'm looking for a PXI-Highspeed Digitizercard with fiberoptic input.
Some technical data:
Resolution: at least 8 bit, but that should be OK
Sampling rate: at least 200MS/s, prefer more, but 500MS/s should be OK by
far
Price: Almost no issue, but less expensive is always good, should be beneath
5000? per channel
Considering Wavelength and connectorsystem I'm yet free in my decision.

Please quote me some suppliers and manufactures, maybe one has experience.

Thank you

Oliver Friedrich

Oliver;

Al the National Instruments data acquisition devices work with Electrical signals only, meaning that you would need a converter for the optical signal.

Yes, that's right, National Instruments doesn't offer anything like that.
I've already discovered. I hope for some information of any third party
manufacturers.
