Opening another VI UI

Hi.

 I am using LabVIEW 2009 BASE

   My main VI is running. I would like, at runtime, to press a button on the UI which will open the UI (and execture) another VI.

PS. I have tried just placing the VI I want to exectue at that part in the code, but when I execute it the UI does not appear (nothing seems to happen)
