By default, the SCXI 1303 automatically accounts for an open circuit condition in a thermocouple by applying 5 volts to a pull up resistor in the connector block, thus saturating the instrumentation amplifier for a given channel on the module.
The DAQ cofig setting appears misleading because the window is greyed out and the Open TC Detection setting is not checked.
