Open VI Reference blocks event loop

Hi instrumento,

      This is kinda interesting.  I tried JeanPierre's state machine idea - but it still didn't work!  It's very strange, the event case exits passing-out a next-state (string) but the OpenVI hangs in that case while the "hold-me" button is depressed.  I used the light-bulb to track execution...

For fun, here's the state-machine that includes a Value (Signalling) event.

Oh I see.  It isn't the event structure that keeps the UI thread busy but holding the button pressed. See this thread and this one too.
