I did a little cleanup on my VI and I have it ready to into a bigger module. I did things similar to what others had done in controlling this same OMEGA DP-41S unit, but found a few things that I had to do differently. The raw data string coming out on the serial bus using the "V01" command had a lot of scatter to it. Trying to average the data really slowed down things and the results were not satisfactory to me. So, Ultimately I used an "X01" command to give me the filtered data that matched up with front panel on the instrument and now it is giving me data quickly as well as reliably. I'll mark this as finished in my books and post the VI here in the event that someone else visits these same issues.
