Numeric control data range not setting in exe

Hi all,
In my application ring control based Numeric controls data range (Max & Min Limits)was set in run time .First
I set 200mA current in ring control and also the max & Min limits of Numeric controls(UP,LOW) is set upto 200 mA.if i set 2mA ring control the max & Min limits of Numeric controls also changed automatically 2 mA.
Its done perfectly in the .VI file.
but in exe of the VI  was not working still changing the Numeric control data range manualy .i.e
set

current     UP           LOW
200mA    200mA      200mA
2mA        2mA          2mA(automatically data range changed)-----in vi file
2mA        200mA     200mA (in exe)

Why automatically data range change is not working in exe file format?
I am using LabVIEW 7.1,   I attached my application in .vi
                  Thanks!

Kumar.

It looks like you have a classic race condition caused by your use of local variables and writing them at the same time you are reading them. Try the attached VI and see if it doesn't work.

Its working in .vi file format but the exe of the vi  does not work.my problem is data range of Numeric controls(UP,LOW) changes does not appear on the front panel in the exe file.

if i set 200mA in current,up,low controls.
next i change the current range to 20mA the Up,low contains the same 200mA.The data ranges of low ,up does not goes automaticly to 20mA still clicking in that controls(low ,up). After changing the values in low,up its working correctly(allow upto 20mA)

but in  .vi file format the automatic updation of low & up data ranges is done without clicking in that controls.

what should i do for achive that in the exe?

One thing I forgot to mention and add to the modification was a wait statement in the loop. Try adding a 100 or 200 msec wait and see if it responds better.
