Hi
Problem1: I have a Windows XP desktop, and a PCI 6036E. I tried to use measurement and automation to test the PCI 6036E device. The error shows that not respond to IRQ level.
Problem2: I have a Labview program. It can read in the sensor signal from PCI card. The signal can be tuned by external amplifier. But even I tuned the signal to 0. The program still reads around 2 (voltage). I suspect the problem might be due to the configuration of my card which I didn't do. So how can I config or calibrate my card?
Thanks

Hi RobinX,
To start off, can you find which version of DAQmx you have installed by checking under the Software tab in Measurement and Automation Explorer. I have noticed reported issues with older versions of the DAQmx driver. Has this card ever worked in Test Panels before? If so, have you tried powering down the computer and changing the PCI slot to see if the issue follows the card?

Thanks Kyle
The only difference between my old system and new one is the Measurement and Automation Explorer. The old one has a version 4.0.0.3010
CVI Runtime 6.0.4
IVI Engine 1.6
LabView 6.0
LabView Runtime 6.0
LabView Runtime 7.0
LabView Runtime 9.0.1
Measurement and Automation Explorer 4.7.1
Traditional NI-DAQ 6.9.3
Thank you.

Is it possible for you to use the DAQmx drivers for your application? And as a follow up are you programming this in LabVIEW. If so, which version?
Thanks,

Hi Kyle
I could change the DAQ drivers, but other problems will come up. I tried before, but the other components will not perform normally. When I open my program, the errors will be missing XX group, staff like that. I am still confused about my current problem. Does "not respond to IRQ" affect configure the DAQ card? How can I calibrate my card and change the voltage range? Thanks.

Hi RobinX,
Below is the Knowledge Base I have been referring to on this problem, which is why I asked if you could use later version of the DAQ drivers where this has been addressed. Please take a moment to read through the document that goes into more detail on the problem. As to why you never saw a problem with the other machine I am still looking into. Is it possible it is using a different operating system and/or has a dual core processor that handles interupts differently? The KB below shows you how to check what form of interupts the computer is using. This may be the main cause of the IRQ issue instead of different MAX versions.
