I am actually acquiring sound file from built-in microphone in the laptop and I am writing the acquired signal into wav file. The issue is that it works well and shows the acquired signal, but when I stop my vi and play the audio wav file, I am unable to find any sound.Attached a vi for your refrence.

Can't really say it's working well if the desired output isn't there. The way you have it set up, it will continuously record 1 second worth of sound and overwrite the previous second worth of sound. Are you sure you're just not listening to the last second of sound, which might be really quiet?
Check to see if your sound file is one second of something really quiet.

I have changed it to 1 to 2 sec to 5 sec then to 20 sec but nothing happens....

Let's start with some basics, like requirements. What are they? Are you trying to acquire one second of audio, or are you trying to acquire continuous audio until you stop?

You might be facing problems because of the non existing file. I added a file dialog into your vi so the you can choose the file before you start the program.
