Newbie : Webcam over the Internet using Labview

Hi,

I'm trying to connect up a Webcam over the internet and display the output
in a Labview application. What software and hardware would you recommend ?

you should take a look at http://www.axis.com/. Besides other products, they
sell very interesting network cameras with built-in web server - an AXIS
ActiveX control is available to display their images in any Windows app.
We're using one in our intranet within a LV project and it works fine! But I
don't want to conceal that connecting such type of camera over the internet
is a different story, since it will not have a constant, accessible
IP-address for "the outer world" in most cases...
