Need help to control Tektronix AWG2021

Hi, I am quite new to labVIEW. I need some help tp control the instrument Tektronix AWG2021. I search for the driver and only manage to find the CVI file. I have used LabVIEW 7.2 and manage to create a subVI. However, when conerted to version 8.0, the subVI is unable to use anymore, as the some of the VIs is unable to be identified. Is there anyway I can use LabVIEW version 8.0 to control Tektronix AWG2021?

Thanks Mike for the reply.
However, the link doesn't provide much help to me.
This is what I have done so far:
First I go to this link
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=30774&query.id=72363#M30774
I realise the CVI file is the only driver there is.

Then after I downloaded the CVI file, I faces the same problem as this link
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=228608&query.id=72363#M228608

Next I downloaded tkwg20xx_32.dll from:
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=228598&query.id=72410#M228598

Then, I download the newest version of CVI.

The problems I am now facing are:
Using LabVIEW 7.1, I am unable to change the waveshape
My main program of my school project is written in LabVIEW 8.0.
The VIs from the CVI files are not recognize in LabVIEW 8.0

Thanks for all the help provided.

Edited: it is labVIEW 7.1

Hi Lumin Koh,

Not really sure what your problem is and what you have done is a bit confusing. Did you try the LabVIEW driver instead of the CVI driver? Even if you downloaded the CVI driver, I see no reason why it would not work with 8.0 assuming you installed the dll on the 8.0 machine and in the correct location. Can you post the VIs and dll?

This VI can be opened using version 7.1 but not with 8.0

It opens just fine. The subVIs are missing though. Just attaching a top level VI does nothing to include subVIs or dlls that they may call. Each are separate files that you zip together or attach individually.
