We are using NI VLM 2.0 in our network and it is running fine but we have another 2 sites with non-routeable networks (private networks) through NAT that we should control at the same server.
We have server/client communication with NAT between them and the client is not starting. We made several tests and our conclusion is nilm is freezing at the client side after it send any information to the server that has not been validated because the NAT. We sniffed the packets and we saw that the nilm client send the machine IP to the server.
We are sure there is no communication problem between client/server, we fixed the ports (lmgrd and nilm) and lmgrd is working fine.
Anybody has NI VLM over NAT? Does anybody knows what could be the problem?
