NI MAX Task Editing Disabled

I have a NI-DAQmx Task that when I select it under NI MAX, it displays following message, does any know why I don't get the task setting? Is this a special feature to prevent changing of the task setting, or something is corrupted? See image attached.

A programm or a VI that ran on your computer must have used the VI "DAQmx Save Task" to save a task to MAX so that it cannot altered interactively.

Hi,

Jens is probably right about the origin of your problem.

Workaround: 1) export your configuration in MAX in ".ini" format 2) delete the task in MAX, 3) edit the ".ini" file with a text editor and remove the line "AllowInteractiveEditing=0" 4) save the ".ini" file and reimport the configuration in MAX using this ".ini" edited file.

After a refresh in MAX, you should be able to edit the task.
