NI ELVIS

Hi,

I tried to access NI ELVIS II source code (in LLB file), but the option "Window-> Show Block Diagram" is not available when I run it with LabVIEW 2011.

How can we access the NI ELVIS II source code with this LabVIEW version?

I want to enhance the functionality of some NI ELVIS instruments by modifying the LabVIEW code.

Which instruments are you modifying?  For most instruments, there are two versions of several of the LLBs.  The files in <Program Files>\National Instruments\NI ELVISmx will typically have the diagrams removed, however, the source code is installed to <Public Documents>\National Instruments\NI ELVISmx Source Code (Shared Documents on Windows XP).  The LLBs in the Public Documents directory should still have the block diagrams that you can modify.

Thank you for the answer.

I modified the NI ELVIS II and NI ELVIS Traditional scopes, using the VIs available in Public folder (in NI ELVIS II) and the VIs in "<Program Files>\National Instruments\NI ELVIS Traditional".

Now, how can I build new instrument launcher with these new VIs?
