.NET class selector dialog does not recognize constructor

I am using LabVIEW 8.5.1 with Epson RC+ 5.0 robot controller software. When I try to place a constructor node on a block diagram and select the RC+ .NET assembly, it recognizes the class objects, but does not recognize the constructors. Similarly, when I place a method or property node on the block diagram and try to assign it to a class, the constructor does not appear in the dialog box. Epson software support says this is because LV 8.5 does not recognize assemblies which were compiled with .NET Framework 3.5.

Does anybody know of a patch or a .NET communications update for LV 8.5 which will recognize this assembly properly?

I know it's possible with LabVIEW 2011 and above but haven't tried with 8.5. See this KB for more details.

Thanks. Tried this with LV 8.5 but it doesn't work.

Did you make sure you had the right assembly number in the file? The link I showed was for .Net 4 but can be used for 3.5, just give it the correct assembly number. That said, I'm not surprised it didn't work, 8.5 is going back a few years...
