Has anyone managed to connect to MySQL without using ODBC?
The LabVIEW 6.1 - ODBC link takes 2 seconds to complete a select query
that takes 0.02 seconds with EMS.
Ive tried the obvious things like turning off ODBC trace and checking
that Im not using the MySQL debug ODBC version.
Maybe there is an activeX out there that I can use or I might be
missing somthing?
Any advice will be most appreciated.

Hi Victor,

You should be able to use ADO / OLE DB technology as well. I haven't heard of anyone using ADO with mysql, but I do know customers that have used it for access and it was much faster than ODBC.
