I am trying to install all of the following, as per the instructions given to me by my university so that I can use the myRIO I have bought:
LabVIEW 2018 (English)
myRIO Toolkit
Real-Time Module
VI Package Manager
FPGA Module
Compilation Tools for Vivado
Control Design and Simulation Module
MathScript RT module
The first issue is this: I can download the myRIO toolkit (which contains what is necessary to download LabVIEW) from the NI website. I have valid serial numbers - my university have supplied them - however, when I need to complete the install step it says I cannot download modules like the RT or FPGA ones, saying that it is because I need LabVIEW downloaded first. I know people who have simply done as instructed, which is just to follow all prompts in the installer and all has worked for them. Even if I then choose to skip installation of these problematic modules, the second issue arises...
The second issue is the hard-drive space requirement. The system requirements listed for all of these modules sums to something like 19GB or less. I started with 35GB on my drive before downloading or installing anything, and still it says I am 5GB short by the time installing the Vivado module is necessary. I do not understand why this is happening.
I have tried the following with no success:
attempted download and installation of aforementioned modules using the setup application multiple times
attempted to remove all trace of NI software from my computer, including downloads
attempted to install just the essential myRIO modules (the first three listed)
I really have no idea how to proceed or what the problem could be. I also cannot have LabVIEW and the other modules use 40GB of my hard-drive space - it hasn't done this for other people I know. I am not very familiar with 'deep operation' of my computer (Dell Precision 7510, with 16GB RAM, Windows 10), so if you have instructional advice, please lay it out in simple terms.
Thanks! any advice is welcome, this might be one for NI customer support.

Hello Plumbo20,
So there are a few answers that I think will help your issue.
According to the error on the screen shot, the FPGA module is asking for the 32-bit version of Lab VIEW. That leads me to believe that you have the 64 bit version. Not all, and in fact not most of our toolkits are made in the 64 bit version of Lab VIEW. They are only made for the 32 bit version.
The main differences in the versions has to do with how the data is encoded and how much memory LabVIEW can use at one time. The 32 bit version running on a 64-bit operating system can use up to 4GB at a time. The 64 bit version can use up to 16 terabits. So if you are needing more than 4GBs for one application, then we recommend the 64 bit. Otherwise, we recommend the 32 bit version because as you discovered, you will have access to all of our modules.
Here is a complete list of the cross over on Windows 10:
The second answer would be that order of installation matters. You must install LabVIEW » modules » toolkits, » additional applications (like TestStand) » drivers. An article explaining that is here:

Moving forward, I think you should download LabVIEW 32 bit and then your modules and then the toolkits.
