Multi Channel Temperature Control VI (PID, Thermocouples - x, DAQ 8.6, LabVIEW 8.x)

Hi

I am new to LabVIEW and I need to make a 8 channel (or zone) temperature control system. For my temperature measurement I am using K type thermocouples and "Cont Acq Therm samples.vi". And my hardware is two NI 9211 input modules and one NI 9264 A/O (analog output) module. My DAQ is NI cDAQ 9172. For the PID VI reference I was suggested by NI to look into the "PID Control-Multi channel.vi" and "PID temperature controller.vi" (downladed from NI.com, 201818.zip).

I have looked into the block diagrams of all the three VIs and I am very confused on how to write a VI with features of all the three VIs. All I have tried so far is errors and so many errors.

Please tell me if we can integrate our "Cont Acq Therm samples.vi" with any of the PID example VI? If yes, how?

Also are these PID VIs auto-tuned (I mean will they calculate the P, I, and D parameters by themselves)? If no, how to do that?

I am attaching the three VIs here. All the three VIs are perfect in themselves but I need help with the VI in controlling the 8 different temperatures with my existing equipments. If anyone  of you can program that out or give a detailed hint on how to do that, that will be higly appreciated and greately helpful to me and many other LabVIEW users.
