Mouse click or enter

I have an application that contains multiple event structures that use a mouse click to exit the event. Is there a simple way to set the event structure to recognize either a mouse click or an enter keystroke as a valid trigger?

Once you give a bit more explanations, we can probably help.

  • What is your definition of "exit the event"? What triggers the event? A typical even should complete on its own quickly? Are you talking about an events in an event structure or something else?
  • how many are "multiple event structures"? What do they do and why?
  • What kind of mouse-click? (click on a control or indicator? Click on the panel? Right? Left? How do you distinguish from other mouse actions? etc.)
  • What kind of key stroke? (any specific key? key navigation, etc.)
  • What is the overall program architecture?

Can you attach a simplified example?

There have been multiple posts in the LabVIEW Forums that come from New Members (such as yourself) to start with a question so strange that it appears to be a "phishing" attempt.  Posts, such as yours, seem to show little knowledge of LabVIEW (see Altenbach's questions) and no evidence that you've looked at the Forum and seen that many posters asking for help show relevant code (best being VIs saved "for previous versions" specifying LabVIEW 2021) so even if you don't really know what you are talking about, we can see what you are trying to do (like why you talk about "multiple event structures", instead of an Event Loop handling multiple events).

Looking forward to learning more about you and your LabVIEW questions after you reply to Altenbach.
