Modbuss issue With Labview 12 runtime

Hey guys/ gals,

 

I have a working labview.exe created with Labview 12 on a PC with the fully installed verstion LV12

Like i said created and built and retested on the pc

On another pc i just installed the labview RT  and the built exe

 

the program consist of  modbus

 

but it doesnt work.

 

Is there a additional package i need to add besides the Runtime to get my Modbuss to work

 

 

additional info:

i have tried two differant Com Modules while troubleshooting both from B & B electronics one is with drivers the other works off of the 232/485 with out drivers

 

 

this is on Win 7 32 bit labview is 12 32 bit

What modbus library are you using? DSC or VISA? You need the runtimes for whatever you are using.

thanks for the reply

 

I solved this issue by intalling the drivers cd on the computer with just runtime.. may have been over kill but i wasnt sure  what exactly i needed.

You could build an installer and include the drivers you need in it.
