I have a small webcam (usb) that I would like to use to acquire images through LabView. MAQ doesn't recognize it and it does not appear on the list of Non Plug and play devices...any suggestions?
Thanks.

Is your webcam TWAIN (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TWAIN) compatible? You might be able to do it through ActiveX if that is the case. I would look for an ActiveX or a .NET solution to your problem, I think...
You might also be able to create a webcam stream external to labview or even the particular computer, and then use an embedded Windows Media Player to stream the feed.

Which version of the IMAQ driver are you using? Are you using NI-IMAQdx 3.4 or NI-IMAQ for USB?

Here is a link to the IMAQ USB software now supported by NI.
