Magnetic Sensor via Analog Output

Hello,

I am using a gear tooth magnetic sensor for measurement a fan speed.

You can check the sensor from below link.

https://www.phoenixamerica.com/products/gear-tooth/solid-state/k2-gear-tooth-sensor.html

I am using an frequency - Voltage converter for RPM measurement. My RPM data is a DBL array and I know sample rate.I have a question about this operation.

How I can convert the analog speed data to tacho signal?

Thanks.

Hi YFA,

How I can convert the analog speed data to tacho signal?

What is a "tacho signal"?

When reading in the analog signal you already know the fan speed from conversion gain of the converter and the number of tooth per revolution…

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi GerdW,

I want to create speed profile from my data. So I need use the Analog Tacho Process.vi (i think)

But my collected data is 1D DBL array. I can't create speed profile from this data.

Hi YFA,

I want to create speed profile from my data.

You already get this from your frequency to voltage converter…

So I need use the Analog Tacho Process.vi (i think)

I don't know that VI and never have heard of…

But my collected data is 1D DBL array. I can't create speed profile from this data.

Just plot the analog data on a chart…

Best regards,
GerdW
