Hello LV lovers,
where can I find examples for data streaming to disk with MXdrivers. Would
be nice to find them for LV 7.1(.1). I cannot find but one example for
binary streaming. I have also 8.2, but not to used to it yet much beacuse it
is so slow. New saving data format will propably help?

But for old nice 7.1, where are examples for scaled data, etc.

Hi,

There's an example that ships with NI-DAQmx: Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-To File(Binary).vi. It's very efficient.

However, I strongly recommend you to use TDM Streaming (TDMS) functionalities that ships with LabVIEW 8.2. TDMS is very efficient and it's easier to query data than using traditional binary files. More information about TDM(S) can be found from the link below:

Check at least Cont Acq&Graph Voltage - Write Data to File (TDMS).vi example that ships with LabVIEW 8.2. You may find more examples by using "TDMS" keyword.
