MIMO USB Touchscreen Monitors

Hello,

I am not sure if the LabVIEW section is the correct place for this but here goes...

Does anyone have any experience using MIMO brand USB touch screen monitors with LabVIEW?

I know there is some kind of touch screen tool kit, but being that these monitors are USB, will they work without the touchscreen?

they come with windows drivers, which make me think that the computer will just see them like a mouse, and LabVIEW wont care any differently?

What applications would the LabVIEW touchscreen toolkit be used for, specifically?

Thank you.

Hello Braincramp,

The Touchscreen Toolkit for LabVIEW was developed by Aledyne Engineering to provide applications with a LabVIEW interface that can be controlled using touch. Below is a link to the product page for the toolkit on Aledyne Engineering's webpage. You may have to contact Aledyne Engineering to see if the toolkit is compatible with MIMO screens.

If the Windows OS can display its UI to the MIMO touchscreen then I see no reason why you could not display a LabVIEW front panel as well.
