MAX: "No supported devices found" in "Supported Physical Channels"

Hello,

I'm new to LabView and (re)setting up a used system with a PXI-1044 chassis, a PXI-8106 controller, and four PXI-4130 cards.

I think I've installed the latest drivers (201208) -- here's what my configuration in MAX looks like:

MAX-shot01.PNG

However, when I go to create a new "NI-DAQmx Task" in "Data Neighborhood", try to create a new analog input under "Acquire Signals", I get the error "No supported devices found".  This is curious since the PXI-4130 device clearly shows up under the PXI-1044 chassis.

How do I resolve this? Thanks for any help or pointers.

Hi,

PXI-4130's are power supplies and do not use DAQmx, hence you can not create an NI-DAQmx Task for them in MAX. The driver that supports power supplies/allows you to program them inside LabVIEW is NI-DCPower, I have provided a link below the latest verseion of this driver.
