MAX don't see my instrument

Hello,

If I go in MAX I don't see my instrument...but I'm quite sure that the instrument driver is properply installed since in the block diagram I can use it patterns...how is it possible?

my instrument is connected via ethernet and the insturment is the LeCroy waveRunner 64Xi.

As u can see in the immage the instrument is not shown as connected.

MAX is the tool to configure and test NI hardware.

So any third party device won't show up in MAX, with the exception of GPIB devices (which only show their address for configuration of "alias names").

You can try using the VISA test panel to communicate with your LeCroy WaveRunner, but i have no experience if that works out well with ethernet connection (USB and serial work fine).
