It likely doesn't have to be exactly that version, but a tangled mess of logistical hurdles leads me to believe it's the quickest solution at the moment.
Trying to support an old system where a real time target had to be reimaged. It's an old desktop, circa 2014 with the image installed having DaqMX 8.8. Windows machine has 8.6, but I am unable to push tasks or even bump the version of MX up or down through MAX with an error code noting the software version mismatch. Unfortunately, I am doing this remotely from a different country while instructing folks who are unfamiliar with the process. So hoping that installing 8.8 on the Windows machine side is the simplest solution in the short term until I can go onsite and sort it out.
