I'm trying to log data from a LABView programme, which generates data for network shared variables. The logged data should be observed with NI DIAdem. So far I managed to log data and have a look at them with DIAdem but there isn't any information on what kind of data it is supposed to be. (Like: Is it a measurement about temperature or voltage ?)
I would like to log additional to the value also other Type of information (like Unit, Description and so on). Is there a solution to modify the data in the Citadel5 database? Or even better, to modify the data before it will be stored in the database? Can I somehow change the properties of the shared variable?
It has to be done over a network shared variables because they are already used in the project from which I should log data.
