Hello,

I am running LabView version 8.6 on a windows xp virtual box. I was assigned this project and was given LabVIEW code to get started. However, when I open it and try to run it errors show up.

Block Diagram Errors

Poly VI 'Read.vi': SubVI is missing

Poly VI 'DAQmx Read.vi': SubVI is missing

SubVI 'Configure Input Signal.vi': SubVI is missing

SubVI 'Configure Reference.vi': SubVI is missing

SubVI 'Configure Sensitivity and Reserve.vi': SubVI is missing

SubVI 'Configure Filter.vi': SubVI is missing

SubVI 'Configure Channel Display.vi': SubVI is missing

It was suggested to me that I download the NI-DAQmx driver. So I went to http://www.ni.com/en-us/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-daqmx.html#288351 and downloaded version 9.5.1. I am not sure where to go next. Kinda new at this. How do I connect the driver to LabVIEW 8.6? Help please!

Thank you,

Natalie

Why are you posting a duplicate thread? ou need to install the drivers that are missing as you were told in the other thread. There should be an installer with the drivers. Run that setup and that should resolve your missing VI issue.

I already accepted a solution on the last thread. Therefore, I believed that if I continued to post on that thread no one would read and reply. Sorry I am new at this and re-post threads. I appreciate your patience.

I have found a solution. The driver was located at: http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=240C113D3165071BE0440003BA7CCD... FYI for anyone with the same problem. I was having difficulty because I am unable to connect the internet to my virtualbox. However I put the driver download into a shared folder and was able to get my program to work. Hope this helps anyone else running a Stanford Research System Model SR830 DSP Lock in Amplifier.
