Listen to the COM port???

Hi all,

i have a windows application talking to a device via the com-port.
Now i want to know what they are talking about. Open the com-port twice
will not work...
So....how can i hear into this datastream???

Haveyou looked at the serial examples that come with LabVIEW, they are a good starting point.
Also when first working with a new serial device I like to use HyperTerminal, serial program that comes with windows, to verify it is working, provided it is a simple serial stream and not a complex encoded one.
