Linux: How to Check if the App run as executable without .EXE extension

Is there a way to check if the VI is running in debug mode or as an execitible? The problem is the executible in Linux does not need to be .exe. so it runs as ./myApp

Thanks.

The "Application Kind" property node (VI Server) should work in Linux just as it does in Windows....

I can't find the Application Kind property note in Linux version.

P.S. AppKind is a property of ActiveX control which does not exist in Linux.

No, AppKind is a property of the VI Server. It exists and works in Linux as well.

Is it possible that you confuse the option to access VI Server by ActiveX in Windows with VI Server itself? You have to know that VI Server exports its API to ActiveX on Windows (if configured), but it is not necessary for its internal functionality....
