Hi Daniel,

Thanks for all your help, I finally got it working.  I don't know why this is happening, maybe you can confirm it with me, but I think it was not working because of the type of constant I was using.  It turns out I already had the correct terminal set up (PFI14) since it says "freqout" terminal on the device pinout. 

To get my VI, I just did some slight modifications on the sample VI you told me to look at before.  For some reason, if I used the in/outs (i will attach a picture with them circled) in the original sample VI, it doesn't work.  But when I changed it to a "control" both started to work, it is really weird.  Maybe this will help anyone with the same problem in the future, or maybe I was just using it wrong.

Hi Lester,

I'm not sure what was causing it to not work, but sometimes if you change the instance of DAQmx Create Virtual Channel (the Virtual Channel type) you need to re-create the Physical Channel control. A any rate I'm glad you got it working.
