It looks like there was a problem with your activation.
I would go into NI License Manager (Start->programs->National Instruments->NI License Manager) and expand LabVIEW 8.0 Development System and look for PDS. You should see a green square if the product is activated. If not, right click on the square and select "activate" to go through the procedure.
This is about as far as we can take it over the message boards. If the steps above do not help you fix the issue, I would suggest
calling in to customer service.
