Labview send a mail to Yahoo

Hi All,

I am looking to send an e-mail to my yahoo account as part of a college project. I am having difficulty with the mail server part of the vi, what should i enter into this field. See attached sample VI. Do i need to set-up outlook on my PC to do this?

If you look up how to set up your yahoo email account on the yahoo website, it should give you all the info that you need.

You don't have to set up outlook.  LabVIEW is all you should need.

If you can not use your schools mail server you can try using G-mail

Send Email from LabView using Gmail

I have to do this from my work because our IS department gets their panties in a bunch if I use the corporate exchange server or run my own POP server....
