Labview resizes automaticly the plotarea when the Y scale is modified

Hello,

When i change the Y scale of a XY - graph Labview automaticly changes
the plotarea of the XY graph. Is there a solution to prevent this?

Example: If I have a graph with a visible Y-scale of 0 to 10, and I
change the scale during runtime to 0 to 1000, the plot area is reduced,
keeping the left side of the scale at the same position. I would like
the plot-area to maintain its original size!

HELP !!!

Jeroen,
What you mention is something I had problems with too.

The reason the plot area (widht) narrows when you change the Ymax from 10 to 1000 is that the Yscale numbers have a "justify right" setting by default.

Simply change this to "justify left" by clicking on e.g. the Ymax number and then selecting Justify/Left from the font drop down list. I would recomend that you start this procedure when you have the highest number you can think of as Ymax for your application (formating). Hope this helps. /Mikael
