Labview program for C-863 DC Motor controller

Can anyone guide me how to create a labview program for controlling PI M-531DD stage with Mercury C-863 DC Motor controller.  My main aim is to interface the controller with the labview.

Hi shady 1611,

I'm having trouble finding what the PI M-531DD stage is. Are you referring to this?

What is your application trying to do?

Are you planning on using NI-SoftMotion?

Yes. This is exactly the Linear stage I am using.

My system requires two wavelength tunable lasers with short pulse durations.  The two laser beams originate from the same Ti:sapphire laser but the OPO beam is delayed when it is generated so the two beams are not synchronized in time when they reach the microscope. The goal here is to delay one of the two beams to re-synchronize them in time before they reach the microscope.
Hence  I have placed a mirror mount on the the Linear translation Stage which acts as a delay line by adjusting its position and its step size.  Therefore I need help in designing a labview program that can control its start and end position , along with the movement speed and step size. And my wish is to make this movement in a loop manner, where the mirror keeps moving back and forth between the mentioned starting and ending points.

So far I have designed a program that controls its ending point position, but I need help to proceed further(see the attachment ).

Can you advice me on how to continue?

What driver are you using to interface with the motor and controller?
