Labview crash when using text tool on control name in cluster

Hello.

Ive run into a bug in LabView 8.0.

It seems that when I select the name (with text tool) of the first control in a cluster (vi included) the name of the control changes color from white to black. Then I try to select
another controls name and LabView crashes.

Asked a collegue to verify the bug and it appears on his system also.

Could you please look into it? Its kinda nasty.

Attached the vi where the bug appears (only a cluster).

Works fine for me. LV 8.0.1 on Mac OSX 10.4.6 on a Dual G5.

I couldn´t reproduce the behaviour you described. Please try to patch LV and see if the problem still occurs.

Ah.. I forgot to say that I'm running Lv Linux 8.0. I'll try the patch.
