Labview cannot identify the instrument

Hi,

I'm puting together Agilent E5810A and Labview 6i to control HP 89441A vector signal analyzer. I/O library suite 17.1 is installed. The Keysight Connection Expert shows that keysight VISA is secondary VISA. The instrument can be identified, and controled with keysight connection expert. But the VISA resource name cannot be found in Labview programming, so I cannot program with labview. The MAX version is 2.0.3.6. 

Anyone have any idea about this?

you really want to use a 15 year old software (LabVIEW6i) with a "modern" driver (IOLib17 from 2014)?

Which OS are you using?

Don't you have access to a more recent version of LabVIEW?

Many Kudos to you. My OS is XP sp3, which is also old. The old version labview is the only one i have. It woked weeks ago. I forgot how i got it to work after i change a computer.
