Labview Runtime is installed but not found

Solved!

Hi lovely people,

I am encountering the following problem.

On my machine I have LabView 2018 and built a small application to load, modify and save tdms files. For this application I have built an executable and copied this exe to a different machine (machine which produces the tdms files, I want to modify). On this second machine some older LabView Runtimes and a DqMax driver were already installed. To run my exe the LabView Runtime 2018 was now installed aswell. Yet, when I run my executable I get the error message for a missing Runtime, telling me to install the 2018 Runtime. Manually checking under C:/Programs/National Instruments/Shared also shows me, that the 2018 Runtime is installed.

Does anybody have an idea what the problem might be? My best guess, is some problem in the order in which the Runtimes were installed? Notably 2018 after the other Runtimes AND the DQmax driver? Is there perhaps a way to manually point my exe to the correct runtime?

Kind Regards

Does the installed runtime engine have the correct bitness (32bit or 64bit)?

Thank you very much. Altough I thought I made sure to install the correct (32bit) version we apparently installed the 64bit version.

Installing the correct one solved the problem.
