Labview: Resource not found

Hello all,

I built an application and that EXE is in start-up, now I'm facing the following problem:

Each time I make a start-up is appearing the message "Labview: Resource not found. An error occurred loading the VI "PLV Write.vi". Labview load error code 3: Could not load front panel."

When I press the "Enter" an other message is appearing that says "Missing subVI PLV Write.VI in VI Outputs.vi" Then I press the "enter again, I close the program.

When i try to execute my EXE not start-up everithing is OK.

Somebody knows how to solve it?

Thanks in advance, best regards

Sounds like you may have some subVIs you are opening dynamically using property or invoke nodes. When you do this, you need to tell the application builder that these are dynamic VIs so it leaves the front panels in tact for those subVIs. By default, font panels are removed from subVI by the application builder to make the application smaller.

If this is not the case, please provide more details so we can help.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

I have seen similar to this when using report gen toolkit to get info into excel.  If you are doing this, follow this:

Thank you both for your very fast answer!!!

A made the following:

I added the VI that he was complaining to Dynamic VIs and support files, in the start-up he returned me the same error but concerning other VI. I added these new VI. And now (only if if the executable is in windows start-up) is returning me the error "The VI is not executable. The full development version of Labview  is required to fix this error".

And the same, if I close and open everything looks normal, only in windows start-up this problem is appearing.

Regards

Paulo,

There is a KnowledgeBase article detailing some things that you might try after encountering this error.  Check it out here:
