Labview DAQ Assistant Express VI

Hello

i have installed NI PCI-6229 and NIDAQmx. i have also installed Labview evaluation version (planing to purchase it if it works as expected). i am trying to get the DAQ running via Labview. i am going through the "getting started with LabView" guide. i could not find  "DAQ Assistant Express VI." in the Labview Function Palette-Express-input palette. could you please inform me whether this is a installation problem and how to rectify it.

You also need to install the DAQmx drivers.  Typically you get them on a separate CD  (or 2) when you get your LabVIEW.  If you downloaded the Evaluation version of LabVIEW, you will have to download the DAQmx drivers as well.

I am not sure if there is a CD that comes with the card.  If there is, you can load the driver from there.  Load the driver after LabVIEW in order for it to know that it needs to tell LabVIEW what LabVIEW needs to know.

after installing DAQmx again it works. as you mentioned i should install DAQmx after Labview. initially i had done the other way round.
