The Labview I am trying to run is 7.1 version. I am using Daqmx. After installing DAQmx, and Traditional DAQ from driver CD, i installed PCI 6024 E, as per instructions given in manual. Then i installed LAbview. Rebooted the computer. Then i tried to open my labview vi, while opening it started searching for vi associated with DAQmx
The files which it starts searching for are:
1. DAQmx create virtual channel
2. Timing
3. Start/task
4. read
5. stop
6. create channels
However before formatting my comp I was using same version of Labview and DAQmx, and the same VI was working.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
the order of component installation is the problem. I'm also using LV 7.1 on 5 stations, so I wrote a procedure for the user to install LabVIEW. LabVIEW should always be installed before you install other components or device drivers. It looks like you installed DAQmx and then LabVIEW. I suggest to uninstall all NI software (from control panel --> National Instrument Software). Reboot your PC. Delete remaining folders in C:\Program Files\National Instruments. Then, install 1) LabVIEW, 2) DAQmx, 3) drivers for PCI 6024 E if needed. I'm not sure about drivers for PCI 6024 E, maybe you won't need to install them. I use only PXI devices, I never had to install drivers for my DAQ devices.
Good luck, post again if you still have problems!
