Labview 6i, DAQ and Linux

I'm about to buy the linux version of Labview. But in France, NI commercials hardly don't know this release. Could someone tell me if DAQ boards are OK under Linux (especially E-series and PC-LPM-16 ) ?
All the more, will Labview/linux still be developped ? It looks like no one buys it ...

Hi Paul

You can get more information @
http://www.ni.com/linux
We now recommend the open source 3rd party driver Comedi (http://stm.lbl.gov/comedi/). Comedi supports most of our E series cards and a few othercards. There are no LabVIEW VIs for Comedi yet though.

Actually, LabVIEW VIs are available for Comedi. You can find these VIs in the Developer Zone resource library under data acquisition>>analog input>>single-point acquisition.
