Labview 3.0.1 Problem

I have a small Labview application developed nine years ago for a robotic work cell. We had a hard drive failure and the original system configuration was lost. I posess the compiled .EXE file, the .VI file, the .LLB file and LVDEVICE.DLL. This program communicates on the COM2 port to the Robot Controller for system startup.

The application does not appear to be communicating with the COM2 port.

Am I missing some runtime files for this to operate? Is there a seprate file (.INI) that will set my port parameters or could it be done via command line switches?

We only want to restore this application until a new interface is developed.

It sounds like you're missing the serial port driver. Its called serpdrv. I don't have such an old version but maybe you can find one at NI Support.
