Hello all, I am new to LabView and would like to get training to create programs to read from various sensors (thermocouples, pressure transducers and etc.)
I am wondering how much overlap there is with the LabView Core 1 class and the "Getting Started with LabView" pdf. Is going through and completing the PDF sufficient to start at LabView Core 2?
Also am I correct in assuming that you don't need everything on the "NI Products Used" list; so for example other hardware will be ok to use?
LabVIEW 2021 or later
NI-DAQmx 21.0 or later
NI-488.2 21.0 or later
NI VISA 21.0 or later
PCI-6221 or USB-6212
IEEE 488.2 (GPIB) controller
BNC-2120

Lessen 1, the correct way to write LabVIEW is LabVIEW. It has been so long since I have taken the entry level training but I would ask why not take both. There may be overlap but at your stage it would be a good thing to go over the material a few times to reinforce the concepts.
