LabView-driver for DATEL PCI416N DAQ-board

Does anybody know where I can get a LabView-driver for a DATEL PCI416N DAQ-board?

I went to Datel's website and did some digging around and saw that Datel does offer
some LabView drivers for this board -- for a price. If you don't want to purchase the driver you could control the board via a Call Library Function and a DLL.

We are using Datel PCI-416 cards with Labview 7.1, and the .dll and sub-VI parts that came with the board are working well.  When we attempt to translate to Labview 8.6, the system cannot convert what it calls "variants." 

Should I go back to Labview 7.1?  Where can I buy a license and disk for Labview 7.1?  I do not have a local distributor. 

If not, what is happening?  The system cannot retrieve the DMA data from the Datel board.  The malfunctioning sub-VI calls a function called "pci416_copy_dmabuffer".  Is this a typical problem?
