my Hardware is:
Embedded Controller: NI PXI-8108
FPGA: NI PXI 7842R
Chassis: cRio 9151
Modul: NI 9411
Motor: Panasonic Minas A5 with driver
i am trying to read a position from the digital outputs of my Motordriver. The Outputs are A+, A-, B+, B-, Z+ and Z-.
Is there a Standard Encoder to calculate the current position of the motor from these digital SIgnals?
I have tried multiple encoder VIs, but none of them seem to work.
I was told to try the DAQmx-Tasks, but that only shows "no physical CHannels found" and I have no experience with that so far.
If I am using the wrong hardware, please let me know, what I would need to correctly read the position.
