LabView 5.11 and IPM-MULTI Multi-Protocol Module

I need to know if LabView 5.11 will work with the IPM-MULTI  Multi-Protocol Module (built by Max Technologies). We plan on plugging it into a carrier board that goes into VXI Chassis and will be using RS-422 to communicate.  If it will work what software/drivers do I need?

Hi,

You should contact Max Technologies to ask them if they have developed API/drivers for IPM Multi Protocol for LabVIEW. However, for RS-232 communication you will need NI-Serial. You should also have NI-VISA. Below are the links to download these drivers along with a tutorial. Please check the version compatible with you operating system before download. I also encourage you to upgrade as LabVIEW 5.1 is no longer supported.
